images-2The Madison-Greene Humane Society Spay/Neuter Clinic is committed to ending companion animal overpopulation by providing low cost, quality spay and neuter services. Pet overpopulation and euthanasia are a continuing problem across the U.S. Be a part of the solution: spay and neuter your pets! It’s the right thing to do for you and for your pet.

We offer low cost vaccinations to pets undergoing spay/neuter. Animals 4 months of age or older without a current rabies vaccination are required by law to receive a vaccinations ($10.00 per vaccine).   Vaccinations and other low-cost services such as ear cleaning, deworming, nail trim, and flea treatment are offered at the time of surgery.

You will save lives:

By spaying/neutering your pet, you reduce the numbers of homeless animals that are put to sleep in shelters every year. Spaying or neutering your pet is the greatest contribution you can make to the welfare of animals in our community!

You will have a healthier pet who will live longer:

Scientific research shows that spayed/neutered companion animals live longer and are less likely to develop health problems. It’s a myth that allowing a pet to have a litter first is better for the pet.

Your pet will have fewer behavioral problems:

Spaying/neutering your pet can reduce many undesirable behaviors such as spraying, roaming, aggression and mounting. Your pet (and you) will be happier as a result!
